BestSingaporeServices reviews home services in Singapore, so you know what to expect before you book.
How we started
BestSingaporeServices started with a couple looking for services for their own home. First a part-time cleaner, then aircon servicing, a plumber, and so on.
Every time, they ended up checking the same things. What's included? What's the real price after GST and other fees? How do you book and pay? What do other customers complain about?
They kept notes so they wouldn't have to do it all again next time. Then they realised other people in Singapore could use the same notes, and the lists grew into this site.
Why home services first
These are the services the lists started with, so they come first. Services for businesses will come later.
What's on each list
For each provider: what they offer, their published prices, how booking and payment work, and what customers commonly like and dislike about them.
Where the information comes from
Where we've used a service ourselves, we say so and share how it went. We haven't tried every provider, though. For the rest, we go by what we've read and researched: the provider's website, Google reviews, forums like Reddit and HardwareZone, and what friends and others who used the service have told us.
Who writes our reviews
Our reviews are written by a small team, under pen names. Each page shows who wrote it.
Before you book
Prices and ratings change, and every home is different. Check with the provider before booking, and try a service once before signing up for anything long term.
